Alvaro Collas

Alvaro brings more than 20 years of experience in the fields of finance, strategy, business development and project management. He joined Amrop in 2011 and since then manages executive search and board member search assignments on behalf of local, regional and multinational organizations, with a focus on mid caps and family owned companies. Alvaro is an active member of Amrop's Global Technology Task Force. He is also Partner of Quantum Talent, a technology start up focused on the use of data science to solve turn-over and performance issues in hourly paid jobs and entry level positions.  

Alvaro has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of finance, strategy, business development and project management. During his career he held leadership positions at Citibank, PwC and Oracle. He has worked in various countries of Latin America and in Canada. During this time, he was focused on developing and implementing value add solutions for his clients in the financial services, agriculture, fishing, mining and energy industries.

B.A. in Economics from The University of Western Ontario, Canada. He has attended IMD Business School for the IMD - Amrop Trusted Advisor Program. He also holds an Advanced Management Program (PAD) Diploma from Universidad de Piura.

Since January 2015 he is an Endeavor Mentor for the local Endeavor entrepreneurs. He is also Partner of Quantum Talent, a technology start up focused on the use of data science to solve turn-over and performance issues in hourly paid jobs and entry level positions. 

From 2012 to 2013 he was an active member of the Human Resources Committee and from 2007 to 2009 he was an active member of the Sustainable Development Committee, both at the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM). He was also Founder and Director of Asociación Civil GestionaRSE from 2006 until 2010.
